Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, courses, cohorts and related services (collectively, the "Services") offered under the brand "The Creators Academy", operated by Gaurangi Enterprise ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website, submitting an application, or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Who we are

The Creators Academy is a brand of Gaurangi Enterprise, an education provider offering cohort-based, mentor-led courses in design, product and technology, delivered live online to learners in India and internationally. References to "The Creators Academy", "we", "us" and "our" in these Terms refer to Gaurangi Enterprise.

2. Eligibility

Our courses are open to anyone who meets the stated prerequisites for a given track, regardless of educational background. You must provide accurate and complete information when applying, including your name, contact details and any other information requested during enrolment. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date.

3. Enrolment and application review

Submitting an application does not guarantee a seat in a cohort. Applications for paid tracks are personally reviewed, and admission is at our sole discretion. Free tracks may enrol applicants automatically once submitted, subject to seat availability for that cohort. We reserve the right to reject or revoke an application at any time, including after enrolment, if information provided is found to be inaccurate or if these Terms are violated.

4. Fees and payment

Where a course has an associated fee, the amount, payment link and payment deadline will be communicated to you at the time of approval. Fees must be paid in full (or per any instalment plan explicitly offered) to confirm your seat. Free courses have no associated fee, as stated on the relevant course page at the time of enrolment.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms for paid courses are set out separately in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Course delivery and schedule

Sessions are conducted live by mentors according to a schedule shared with each cohort before the course begins. While we make every effort to adhere to published schedules, session timings, mentors, and specific curriculum details may change to reflect cohort needs, mentor availability, or operational requirements. We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled learners of material changes.

7. Mentee conduct

You agree to participate respectfully in live sessions, discussions and any shared community spaces (including WhatsApp groups where applicable). We reserve the right to remove any participant whose conduct is abusive, disruptive, or otherwise inconsistent with a respectful learning environment, without refund where applicable.

8. Intellectual property

All course materials, curriculum, recordings, assignments and other content provided as part of the Services are the intellectual property of The Creators Academy or its mentors and licensors. You may use these materials for your personal learning only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell or publicly share course materials without our prior written consent.

Work you create as part of an assignment or capstone project remains your own work, and you are free to include it in your personal portfolio.

9. Certificates

A certificate of completion is issued to learners who meet the completion requirements of a given course, as communicated during the course. Certificates reflect completion of the stated program and do not constitute a professional accreditation, license, or guarantee of employment outcomes.

10. No guarantee of employment outcomes

While we provide career support, portfolio guidance and mentorship as part of certain courses, we do not guarantee job placement, interviews, or any specific employment or income outcome as a result of completing a course.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Creators Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the relevant course.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising under them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
